the article referencing this as real claims the shark stuck its head out the water 'to get a better look'. does anyone know about shark vision? can they see well in air? i mean, its a fish.
I don't know how well they can see above water, but the distortion caused by the surface of the water is definitely bad enough to warrant poking your head above just to see what this weird yellow thing is floating on the surface. Not that it really cleared up the issue for the shark - I'd bet he still has a few questions. Or no questions. I don't know if sharks have questions.
after a little research, the matter is elucidated insofar as great white sharks definitely do pop up for a gander, because they can. Which would imply that they have questions, if they're looking about for an answer. which almost implies that they have advanced consciousness and rationality and civilization and secretly bitch about humans in snobbish tones because they're more advanced than us. i don't want to be bitched about by a shark.

no, but alcohol with blur the edges of these (admittedly true) realities until i come to terms with them, or forget. god typecast, don't you know how to deal with the problems of life?
